Privacy Policy

AntPod is built on a simple principle: your podcasts are yours. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
What AntPod does not collect
AntPod does not collect any information about you, your device, or your listening habits. There are no crash reporters, no usage analytics, and no advertising identifiers. All subscription data, episode history, and playback progress is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
Network requests made by the app
AntPod communicates directly with the services you use — no middleman server is involved:
PodcastIndex
Podcast search and discovery use the PodcastIndex API. Your search queries are sent to their servers. Please refer to the PodcastIndex privacy policy for details on how they handle requests.
Podcast hosts
When you subscribe to a podcast or stream/download an episode, your device connects directly to the podcast host's server to fetch the RSS feed or audio file. Podcast hosts can see and may log your IP address and the requests made to their servers — this is the same as visiting any website. AntPod has no control over what podcast hosts collect or how they use that information.
Open source
AntPod is fully open source. You can audit every line of code at github.com/ueen/antpod. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to open an issue.
